Ducted Air Conditioning Vents
Air Con Vents
There are 6 vents to choose from when getting ducted air conditioning installed. The round ceiling vent is most common as it blends with the décor of most homes. A square vent would be most commonly used in offices and other commercial buildings. A 4 way vent oscillates the air four different ways to optimize the air flow in a certain area. Side blow, bar grill, and linear vents are very rarely used in residential applications and are far more common in areas such as board rooms for company buildings, hotel rooms, or event halls etc. These vents are also almost always installed on the walls very low to the ground or very high to the ceiling.
What is ducted air conditioning?
Ducted air conditioning gives you the flexibility to heat or cool every room in your home or office through the use of vents and ducts. These ducts are then ‘zoned’ to distribute air in up to 10 different areas of your home. These are powered by two units, an indoor fan coil unit, responsible for air distribution through the home, and is connected to the outdoor condenser unit by two refrigerant lines.
Why ducted heating and cooling?
- Heat and cool your home
- One system for the entire house or office
- More energy efficient than traditional heating and cooling methods
By controlling the temperature, airflow and air quality in a broad range of environments, ducted heating and cooling systems are designed to completely regulate the climate of your home or office.
