Tis the season of giving
Wednesday, 19th December, 2018
This holiday season there are many people around Australia that need our help. With the devastation caused by the droughts earlier this year, and the recent storms across the east coast, if you can spare a couple of dollars this Christmas please consider donating to some of these charitable causes:
Australian Lions Foundation – When disaster strikes, the Australian Lions Foundation is amongst the first to offer disaster relief.
Australian Red Cross – Relief in times of crisis and care when it’s needed most.
Canteen – The best place to help young people deal with the challenges cancer brings.
Careflight – Save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.
Mater Foundation – Give where it’s needed most.
Mental Health Association – Promoting awareness and understanding of mental health in the community, and to assist people to access relevant and timely information, services and support.
Mission Australia – Helping vulnerable Australians move towards independence.
Rapid Relief Team (RRT) – A volunteer, non-for-profit, set up to support local communities in times of need.
Redkite – Providing essential support to children and young people with cancer.
Royal Flying Doctor Service – One of the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations in the world.
RSPCA – The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is helping animals, enlightening people, and changing lives.
Starlight – Brightening the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
